# The Browser Arena

The Browser Arena (browserarena.ai) is an open-source benchmarking platform by Notte Labs that measures and compares the performance of cloud browser infrastructure providers. It provides real, reproducible latency data for developers building AI browser agents, web automation, and scraping systems.

## What it measures

The benchmark tests the full lifecycle of a cloud browser session:

- **Session creation**: Time to spin up a new remote browser instance
- **CDP connection**: Time to establish a Chrome DevTools Protocol connection
- **Page navigation**: Time to navigate to a target URL and wait for load
- **Session release**: Time to close and clean up the browser session

Results are reported at median (P50), P90, and P95 percentiles. Benchmarks also measure success/failure rates and support concurrent session testing.

- All benchmark code is open-source at github.com/nottelabs/browserarena
- Anyone can reproduce results by deploying on Railway with their own API keys
